The mains water in Spain is generally safe to drink (if in doubt please contact your local water company) but it often seems like they put more chlorine in the tap water than in the swimming pool! When you turn on the tap the smell is awful. We have just purchased a home in Almunecar, south of Granada and found this. I have been involved in the water treatment industry for 20 years so naturally had the perfect solution. This filter will give 3 years life and at the stated capacity of 40,000 lt that's 36 lt per day! This will save a considerable amount of money on the cost of bottled water. Even if you could buy a 5 lt bottle of water fot €1, 40,000 lt costs €8,000 but the most import saving is your legs and back. Carrying water from the supermarket is HEAVY! The fitting of a Viking water filter is particularly efficient at reducing the following substances, when present, from the mains water supply: Chlorine, taste, odour, trihalomethanes, pesticides, herbicides, aluminium, organic chemicals, oestrogen hormones, lead sediment and Perfluorooctane Sulphonate (PFOS). These statistics have been produced by completely independent laboratory reports (available upon request). |
Cost €450 inc. VAT
Please note credit cards will be invoiced in pounds.

| They really are easy to self install but if you live in the Almunecar, Nerja, Granada, Motril area, I can personally install it for €100 on my regular trips over. | ||
